Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Supertape (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit supertape.ai or interact with our marketing site (the “Site”). It does not cover the Supertape product itself or data collected through our applications — those are governed by separate notices.

We operate only in the United States. This Site is not directed to visitors outside the US.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Contact form: name, email address, and message content you submit through /contact
• Newsletter signup: email address
• Voluntary correspondence: emails, calls, scheduled meetings, and any information you choose to share with us

Information collected automatically

• Server logs: IP address, browser type, referrer URL, pages visited, timestamps
• Cookies and similar technologies: loaded via Google Tag Manager (container GTM-NPLG4F5K) and any analytics tags configured within
• Visitor identification: we use Leadsy (operated by Instantly.ai) to identify businesses visiting our Site. This service uses reverse-IP lookup and similar techniques to associate visits with business entities. It does not provide us with your name or personal contact details — only company-level identification

Sensitive personal information

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through this Site (such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, biometric data, health data, or financial account numbers).

2. How we use information

• Respond to your inquiries and communications
• Send marketing communications you’ve requested (newsletter)
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
• Measure Site traffic and engagement (analytics)
• Identify businesses that visit so we can follow up appropriately
• Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights

3. How we share information

We share information with the following categories of third parties:

• Analytics providers: Google (Tag Manager and any analytics tags configured within), to measure Site traffic and engagement
• Visitor identification providers: Leadsy / Instantly.ai, to identify businesses visiting the Site
• Hosting and infrastructure: Vercel and other service providers needed to operate the Site
• Outbound communication tools: Instantly.ai, for managing our outreach
• Legal compliance and protection: when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and the rights of others

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. Some of the disclosures above — particularly the Leadsy visitor identification service — may be considered “sharing” or “selling” of personal information under California, Virginia, or Texas law. You can opt out as described in Section 6.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies through Google Tag Manager to operate the Site and measure performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect Site functionality.

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out request for the “sale” and “sharing” of personal information.

5. Your privacy rights

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect about you
• Access and obtain a copy of your personal information
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Delete personal information we hold about you
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, including for cross-context behavioral advertising
• Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information
• Not face discrimination for exercising your rights

You may also designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. We will require written authorization and verify the agent’s identity.

Virginia residents (VCDPA)

You have the right to:

• Confirm whether we process your personal data
• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccuracies
• Delete personal data
• Obtain a portable copy
• Opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling

If we decline a request, you may appeal by responding to our reply within 60 days. We will respond to appeals within 60 days.

Texas residents (TDPSA)

You have the right to:

• Confirm whether we process your personal data
• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccuracies
• Delete personal data
• Obtain a portable copy
• Opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling

We will respond to verified requests within 45 days (extendable by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary, with notice).

How to exercise your rights

Send a request to drew@supertape.ai including:

• Your full name
• The email address(es) you’ve used with us
• The state you reside in
• The specific right you wish to exercise

We verify your identity before responding. We may not be able to fulfill requests that cannot be reasonably verified.

6. Do Not Sell or Share my personal information

To opt out of the sharing described in Section 3:

• Email drew@supertape.ai with the subject “Opt out of sharing”
• Enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser — we treat this as a valid opt-out

7. Data retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiries, operate the Site, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. In general:

• Server logs: up to 90 days
• Contact form submissions and newsletter signups: until deletion is requested or until we determine the information is no longer needed
• Analytics data: as configured in the relevant analytics tool (typically 14–26 months)

8. Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page for at least 30 days before they take effect.
